هدف این تحقیق بررسی رابطه‌ی بین مهارت‌های اجتماعی و نگرش به کارآفرینی دانشجویان کشاورزی دانشگاه تهران بود. جامعه‌ی آماری تحقیق را 450 نفر از دانشجویان کارشناسی‌ارشد دانشکده‌ی کشاورزی دانشگاه تهران تشکیل می‌دادند که 138 نفر از آنان با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS Sample Power و روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی ساده به‌عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. برای گردآوری داده‌ها از پرسش‌نامه استفاده شد. روایی صوری پرسشنامه با نظرسنجی از متخصصان و قابلیت اعتماد سازه‌های پژوهش با محاسبه آلفای ترتیبی (79/0 و 89/0) تأیید شد. یافته‌های پژوهش نشان داد مهارت اجتماعی اکثر دانشجویان متوسط به پایین و نگرش آنان به کارآفرینی متوسط به بالا بود. نتایج تحلیل همبستگی نشان داد بین مهارت گفت‌وگو، مهارت همکاری، مهارت حل تضاد، اقناع و مهارت اجتماعی کل با نگرش به کارآفرینی در سطح یک درصد رابطه‌ی مثبت و معنی‌داری وجود دارد. یافته‌ها همچنین نشان داد بین مهارت همدلی و همبستگی و خودتبلیغی با نگرش به کارآفرینی در سطح پنج درصد رابطه‌ی مثبت و معنی‌داری وجود دارد. بنابراین، می‌توان نتیجه گرفت اگر  مهارت اجتماعی دانشجویان از طریق آموزش بهبود یابد، نگرش آنان به کارآفرینی نیز بهتر خواهد شد.
