طی سالیان اخیر با رشد مطالعات در حوزه­ ی کسب ­وکارهای خانوادگی، تحقیقات در حوزه­ ی مسوولیت ­پذیری اجتماعی شرکتی نیز به صورت موازی افزایش پیدا کرده است. با توجه به اهمیت مطالعات مسوولیت ­پذیری اجتماعی در حوزه ­ی کسب­ وکارهای خانوادگی، تحقیق حاضر ضمن شناسایی عناصر مسوولیت ­پذیری اجتماعی شرکتی، به بررسی تاثیر آن بر عملکرد کسب­ وکارهای خانوادگی در استان مازندران پرداخته است. در این راستا روش تحقیق توصیفی از نوع پیمایشی به کمک مدل معادلات ساختاری جهت اجرای تحقیق حاضر مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. همچنین از ابزار پرسشنامه محقق ساخته 59 سوالی با طیف پنج گانه لیکرت جهت گردآوری داده ­ها استفاده شد. از روش نمونه ­گیری طبقه­بندی شده جهت انتخاب نمونه از جامعه 125 نفری مدیران عامل کسب ­وکارهای فعال عضو اتاق­ های تعاون و بازرگانی، صنایع، معادن و کشاورزی استان مازندران استفاده شد که حجم نمونه مطابق فرمول کوکران 94 شرکت، تعین شد. داده­ ها با نرم افزار PLS  Smart تجزیه و تحلیل شدند و یافته ­های تحقیق نشان داد میزان اثرگذاری مسوولیت ­پذیری اجتماعی نسبت به مشتریان با ضریب 94/0 بیشترین اثرگذاری بر عملکرد مالی شرکت را دارد.
