تحقیق پیش رو با هدف بررسی زمینه‌ها و چگونگی نقش‌آفرینی سازمان نظام مهندسی کشاورزی و منابع طبیعی در توسعه کارآفرینی دانش‌آموختگان رشته‌های کشاورزی در شهرستان خرم‌آباد (استان لرستان) صورت گرفته است و با بهره‌گیری از پارادایم کیفی با ﻧﻈﺮﻳﺔ مفهومﺳﺎزی ﺑﻨﻴﺎدی در سال 1396 شکل گرفت. جامعه آماری در این تحقیق افراد عضو این سازمان بوده‌اند که پیش‌زمینه، راهکارهای اجرا شده موفق و یا ایده‌های کاربردی دارند تا بتوانند مسئله مورد نظر را پاسخ دهند و با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری هدفمند زنجیره‌ایی نمونه‌ایی به تعداد 24 نفر انتخاب‌شده‌اند. برای جمع‌آوری اطلاعات، مصاحبه‌هایی نیم‌ساختارمند صورت گرفت. اعتبار و روایی داده‌ها در پژوهش حاضر از روش بازبینی توسط مشارکت‌کنندگان در پژوهش استفاده شد و پس از دریافت نظرات اصلاحی، ویرایش‌های لازم انجام شد و همچنین بـرای افزایـش قابلیـت اطمینـان پژوهـش به مسیرنمای حسابرسی اقدام شـد. در ابتدا "سازوکارهای نقش‌آفرینی سازمان نظام مهندسی کشاورزی و منابع طبیعی در کارآفرینی دانش‌آموختگان رشته‌های کشاورزی" با استفاده از الگوی گیلزر و اشتراوس تعیین گردید و با به‌کارگیری نرم‌افزار MAXQDA12 فرآیند کدگذاری‌ها صورت گرفت و مقوله‌های اصلی و فرعی استخراج شدند. همچنین در ادامه بر پایه‌ی مدل پارادایمی اشتراوس و کوربین، شرایط علّی، شرایط زمینه‌ای، شرایط مداخله‌گر یا واسطه‌ای، راهبردها و پیامدهای مسئله اصلی تحقیق، مشخص شده است. نتایج نشان داد که این سازمان می‌تواند با ارائه معرفی افراد کارآفرین به نهادهایی مرتبط برای عقد قرارداد جهت فروش تولیدات، معرفی کسب‌وکارهای خرد کمسرمایه با محوریت فعالیت‌های کارآفرینانه، نیاز‌سنجی برای اعضا در جهت گرایش‌های مرتبط برای کارآفرینی، ارائه مشاوره‌هایی در جهت بهره‌مندی مفید افراد از وام‌های کشاورزی در این راستا موفق‌تر عمل کند.
