    کارآفرینی در بردارنده منبعی از انعطاف­ پذیری، نوآوری، ایجاد و توسعه­ی شغلی برای اقتصاد و یک فرصت جالب برای توسعه ­ی حرفه‌ای افراد تلقی می‌شود. دانشگاه‌ها در گذشته به­عنوان محیطی آموزشی شناخته می‌شدند؛ اما با توجه به تحولات نظام کلان، رویکردی پژوهشی پیدا کردند و در واقع؛ یک وظیفه به وظایف دانشگاه اضافه شد که تحصیلات تکمیلی محصول این تحولات بود. در واقع کارآفرین ­شدن دانشگاه‌ها دومین انقلاب در مأموریت دانشگاه‌ها به­ شمار می‌رود. در این تحقیق به بررسی ویژگی­های کارآفرینانه در بین دانشجویان رشته ­های کشاورزی دانشگاه صنعتی اصفهان پرداخته شده است. جامعه آماری این تحقیق دانشجویان مقاطع کارشناسی ارشد، دکتری و همچنین دانشجویان مقطع کارشناسی می‌باشند که حداقل دوسال از تحصیل خود را گذرانده باشند. روش تحقیق در این مطالعه توصیفی و تحلیلی است و ابزار تحقیق پرسشنامه بوده است. روایی محتوایی پرسشنامه با استفاده از مقدار ضریب Kmo و آزمون بارتلت تأیید و جهت تعیین پایایی از ضریب آلفای کرونباخ استفاده شد، که نشان از پایابودن ابزار اندازه‌گیری در حد 91 درصد داشت. حجم نمونه با استفاده از فرمول کوکران تعیین و روش نمونه‌گیری طبقه ­ای با انتساب متناسب بهره گرفته شد از جامعه آماری 1700 نفری تعداد نمونه آماری 98 نفر از دانشجویان دانشکده کشاورزی تعیین گردید. جهت تجزیه‌ و تحلیل داده‌ها از آماره‌های توصیفی و استنباطی نظیر درصد فراوانی، میانگین، آزمون کروسکال، من ویتنی، ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و همچنین از رگرسیون استفاده گردید. نتایج آزمون همستگی رابطه 99 درصد و بسیار معنی‌داری را بین متغیرهای ویژگی‌های دانشگاه کارآفرین با میزان آگاهی از فعالیت‌های کارآفرینانه دانشجویان نشان داد.
