    توسعه ­ی روستایی از مهم‌ترین بحث‌هایی است که در هر جامعه‌ای به ­ویژه در جوامع در حال توسعه مطرح بوده است. از آنجایی که کارآفرینی با خلق فرصت‌های جدید اشتغال و در نتیجه ایجاد درآمد، نقش مؤثری در بهبود وضع اقتصادی و معیشتی روستاییان ایجاد می‌کند، لذا توسعه روستاها در مقایسه با گذشته، پیوند گسترده‌تری با مفهوم کارآفرینی و به ­ویژه کارآفرینی کشاورزی یافته است. از این­رو، پژوهش حاضر با هدف مطالعه تأثیر چهار عامل نوآوری، تولید، منابع مالی و بازار بر توسعه­ ی روستایی از طریق نقش میانجی کارآفرینی کشاورزی در میان تعداد 42 نفر از کارآفرینان نمونه استان خراسان شمالی بوده است و با توجه به محدودبودن جامعه، حجم نمونه نیز برابر با حجم جامعه در نظر گرفته شده است. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات پرسشنامه استاندارد بوده و برای تجزیه و تحلیل آماری داده‌ها از نرم­ افزار SPSS و از روش بوت استراپ برای آزمون اثرات غیرمستقیم استفاده شد. نتایج نشان داد که کارآفرینی کشاورزی تأثیر مثبت و معنی‌داری بر توسعه روستایی دارد و بین عوامل نوآوری، تولید، منابع مالی و بازار با توسعه روستایی نیز رابطه­ ی مستقیم وجود دارد. در مجموع، یافته­ ها نشان می­ دهند که عوامل چهارگانه نوآوری تولید، عوامل تولید، منابع مالی و بازار تولید، به­ صورت مستقیم و غیرمستقیم (کارآفرینی کشاورزی) بر توسعه­ ی روستایی اثر دارند.
